Eight Friends Share Hopes for Change

This year, they decided to welcome the New Year with celebration and purpose—a collective intention rooted in the idea that their combined energy could ripple out into the universe.
“Let’s begin,” Mia said, her voice steady. “One glass, one wish, one thought toward a synergistic intention for a better world.”
Claire stepped forward first, gently lifting a glass from the pyramid. “To health,” she said, her voice resolute. “For all of us and everyone.”
Next came Ravi, who grinned as he held his glass high. “To courage—the kind that helps us face anything and grow stronger.”
Sophia followed with a beaming smile. “To love. May it reach every corner of our lives and the world.”
“To creativity,” said Ethan, his eyes bright with excitement. “To find new ways to solve old problems.”
Elena, with a thoughtful pause, lifted her glass. “To understanding. May we listen more, judge less, and learn from each other.”
Sam took the next glass, adding, “To joy—the kind that spreads like wildfire and lights up even the darkest places.”
“To abundance,” said Lily, her tone calm and steady. “Not just for us, but for everyone who needs it.”
Finally, hostess Mia lifted the last glass. “To peace,” she said softly. “In our hearts, our homes, and the world.”
With all eight glasses raised, the group stood in a circle, their intentions filling the air like a quiet symphony. Then Mia spoke again, her voice carrying the weight of their hope.
“To the world,” she said. “May these intentions come together to create something greater than ourselves—a year of love, health, courage, creativity, understanding, joy, abundance, and peace.”
